These are named cookies but they are really a candy and a very good one
that is so easy to make, you may find yourself doing it all year,


1- 12 oz pkg of chocolate chips
4 T. (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
1 egg - beaten
3 cups miniature marshmallows (regular or flavored colored ones).
1 cup chopped walnuts
Shredded coconut


Melt chips and butter over low heat. Remove from heat. Add egg slowly while stirring
Mix well. Cool slightly. Mix marshmallows and walnuts in large bowl. Pour chocolate mixture
0ver top. Mix well.
Butter two sheets of wax paper. Sprinkle evenly and lightly with shredded coconut.

Now comes the fun part.
Pour one half of mixture on each paper and with buttered hands shape into logs.
Roll up in wax paper and chill several hours. Slice rolls to serve.
